A copper pad that you put in the still and it replicates the effect of distilling in a traditional copper still.
It's said to impart better flavours by removing unwanted metals. They certainly look as if they've done something when you take them out.
We drilled holes in a 50mm long piece of 20mm copper tube.
It worked really well but you do have to clean it well
